This information is posted on MMB for potential buyers who are looking to buy value-added cattle. The information collected includes current location of cattle, breed/breed influence, sex/age/weight, health/vaccination, known genetics, genomic testing results, special program qualifications, and additional comments. There's also an opportunity to provide photos and videos, as well as an asking price.
Listings are $150.00 per listing per month. Listings will not be live on the website until the listing fee is paid. Listings will automatically expire at the end of the listing period determined at the time of payment, unless renewed.
Market Makers Beef sellers must provide the following information: Current location of cattle; Breed or breed influence; Sex/type; and select either registered or commercial genetics. All other information is optional, but encouraged. MMB buyers recognize the value of data-packed cattle, and it is reflected in market prices.
